Jakarta E-Prix Spectators Look Enthusiastic about Trying Out Racing Simulator Game

The Gaming Arena in Beach City Ancol is in great demand by the Jakarta e-Prix 2023 audience. It is recorded that more than 500 people have tried out this racing simulator game since it opened at 8 AM to 1 PM.

At the location, there are 16 simulator machines (sim rigs), 14 of which are for adults and two sim rigs for children up to 13 years of age. 15 guides looked alert giving brief guidance on how to operate the machine such as how to drive and the functions of the buttons on the steering wheel.

One of Formula E spectators from Jakarta, Wahyu (32) admitted that the Gaming Arena gives an experience and sensation for visitors driving a Formula E racing car.

"I'm curious to try this simulator game, what is the sensation of a Formula E racing car. Even though it's not a real car, at least I can simulate how the performance, handling, and power are from behind the wheel directly," he expressed, Saturday (6/3).

He went on to say that it is also a means or alternative entertainment for Formula E spectators while waiting for the race to take place.

"There are many activities that visitors can try in this area, especially at ABC Mall," he added.

Similar statement also came from another spectator from Bandung, West Java, Kuswanto Adji (30). Even though he is familiar with the simulator games, he needed adjustments because it was the first time he was trying out the simulator.

"I need to adapt first. Previously, I had also tried an F1 racing car, but it was Formula E for the first time. This is good so that the audience can feel the atmosphere of the racer. If possible, the simulator game is the Jakarta circuit, thus it will be even more fun," he admitted.

As for the information, Gaming Arena provides a Formula E racing car simulator game that is free practice. Everyone has the opportunity to score the fastest lap in seven minutes. The ranking will be displayed on the live leaderboard and the first or top ranking will later get a free goodie bag.
